The Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) is native to Asia and feeds on many different plants, including many economically significant crops in Oregon. Once introduced they establish and spread fast, leaving a path of destruction behind them! As of now, the Spotted Lanternfly has only been officially identified in six states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and New York. Every state is at risk, and it is very likely that they could make their way to Oregon.
